Palabra.ai is breaking the barriers to global communication with real-time AI speech translation solution. We’re building a range of products for every need - translating video and audio calls, events, conferences, livestreams, and even embedding our tech into any app via API.

At a fraction of the cost of a conventional interpreter, Palabra makes live translation affordable and easy to access for anyone - person or company.

The speech translation market is already worth tens of billions of dollars and Palabra is ready to lead the next wave of its evolution.

Who we are looking for?

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, commercial powerhouse to join as Palabra’s first US employee. You’ll be excited to scale an early-stage company and grow your career like crazy.

You’re joining us just as things are taking off. We recently raised a $10M pre-seed round from top-tier VCs like 776 (Alexis Ohanian, Reddit), and 10+ renowned founders including Max Mullen (Instacart). Over the past 18 months, we’ve built and battle-tested the tech - including with our first real client POC.

We already have a pipeline of 400+ leads and 20 active POCs with companies like Agora. Now we’re ramping up and looking for someone to drive US market growth - finding deals, closing them, and helping us scale.

We’ve built an experienced team of top-performing engineers - including ML experts and winners of international coding and AI competitions. Before Palabra, our founding team built one of the world’s top computer vision companies from scratch. That tech went on to win global benchmarks like NIST FRVT, MegaFace, EmotionNet, and IARPA, outperforming the likes of Google. We eventually sold the company for $150M+ - and with Palabra, we’re aiming even higher.

There are no limits with this role, and we expect this person to be a future commercial leader at Palabra as we scale.

What to expect

• You’ll be Palabra’s first US hire, reporting to the co-founder/CBDO and working closely with the commercial, product, and dev teams.
• You’ll be the engine of our US revenue, learning to take a product to market and scale to millions in ARR - by actually doing it.
• You’ll run complex sales cycles with top-tier mid-market and enterprise tech companies (~300–8,000 employees), closing five- and six-figure deals.
• You’ll own and expand the sales pipeline, refine outbound strategies, close deals, and shape our GTM playbook as we grow across industries.... Hopefully, you’ll manage a geography/sector/team in the next 12 months
• You’ll design our sales processes, experimenting with messaging and outbound strategies to figure out what actually works.
